Independent Health Check
A focused assessment that establishes the evidenced position, material control gaps, immediate exposure and required decisions. It is suited to programmes where governance needs an objective baseline before deciding whether deeper intervention is justified.

Critical Decision Review
Targeted assurance before contract acceptance, phase transition, go-live, service transition or another high-consequence decision. The review tests whether the evidence is sufficient for the specific decision, not whether the programme is generally busy or confident.
Continuous Client-Side Assurance
Ongoing independent oversight across the delivery lifecycle. Enigma reports to client governance, challenges supplier evidence, tracks cumulative exposure and verifies that agreed actions have genuinely closed.
Recovery Assurance
An objective baseline for a programme in difficulty, followed by independent examination of the recovery plan, its assumptions and its results. Recovery confidence is earned through executable controls and verified delivery, not a revised date or re-presented status report.
Every engagement starts with a controlled mandate
The mandate prevents ambiguity and protects independence. It defines:
- the client decision or outcome being protected;
- the assurance scope, exclusions and materiality threshold;
- access to people, evidence and delivery systems;
- the reporting route and escalation authority;
- assessment criteria and confidence scale;
- outputs, review points and closure rules;
- conflicts of interest and how they will be controlled.
What changes by client
Government engagements may require formal evidence trails, multiple governance layers, public accountability and scrutiny across supplier boundaries. SME engagements are usually narrower, faster and focused on commercial, operational or investment exposure. Proportionality changes the depth and cadence, not the integrity of the conclusion.
